It was back in the 1900’s that Sante Beccaro established his wine business on a farming property in Teolo, at the foot of Monte Grande, in the Regional Park of the Euganei Hills, in the Northeast of Italy. At the time, the property was also rich in cherry and peach trees and strawberries.
The farm was then to be taken over by his son Meridio.
In 1982, Gianfranco & Riccardo Beccaro, thanks to the experience acquired over the generations, decided to convert the whole 7 ha into an entire vineyard while diversifying the grape types (always with Certified Origins). The property was given the name Le Querce, for all the secular oakes that have characterized its grounds |
